Pepperdine's commencement is one of the most photogenic in California — held outdoors on Alumni Park, the sloping central lawn of the Malibu campus, with the Pacific Ocean filling the horizon behind the graduates and the Phillips Theme Tower (the iconic 125-foot cross) rising on the hillside above. It also creates a real delivery problem: ceremony seating fills early, the park doesn't accept third-party deliveries during the procession, graduates are moving between hillside residence halls and family hotels along the coast, and plans change fast. The Malibu run is a 30–40 minute Pacific Coast Highway drive from our La Cienega studio — we plan our west-side route around it, so the bouquet still lands at the right Malibu address by 7pm. Whether you're sending flowers to a Wave in a residence hall on the hillside campus, surprising a family staying at a beachfront hotel, or having them waiting at the post-ceremony brunch spot, order by 4pm Pacific Monday through Saturday for same-day. A quick regalia note for context: Pepperdine Seaver undergrads wear a black gown, black cap, and black tassel — not royal blue (that's the doctoral robe). The orange-and-blue Pepperdine stole is the school's distinctive visual identifier, and gold honor cords are common (any 3.5+ GPA earns them at Seaver, so they're on roughly a third of grads). That means most bouquets are framed by a black gown with orange-and-blue accents, set against the Pacific Ocean backdrop. Where to send graduation flowers

The portrait spots families fan out to after the ceremony are part of why Pepperdine is so photogenic, but they're not delivery addresses — they're where the bouquet shows up in the photo. The most-photographed locations: the Phillips Theme Tower (the 125-foot white cross on the hillside above campus); the Pacific overlooks along the slope below Alumni Park; Heroes Garden atop the Drescher Graduate Campus, with its 360° ocean vista; Stauffer Chapel adjacent to Alumni Park; and the large concrete "Pepperdine University" sign at the edge of the park.
